Meaningful work

Since last year, our Job Center has been matching practitioners with reduced or no workload with interesting assignments cross-firm on a temporary basis. It creates new opportunities for our people to learn and broaden their network. This initiative was just one way we kept Deloitters engaged with meaningful work while responding to the changing needs of our clients and our organisation.

Keeping everyone on the same page

Uniting our people from afar, our interactive monthly town hall webinars kept us connected while working remotely. While they originally came about as a response to the pandemic, our town halls have since grown into a monthly communications channel to update everyone on our progress. Most importantly, the webinars provide our people with the chance to have their voices heard via pulse touchpoints.

Heart of the matter

We created a Wellbeing Charter to nurture our wellbeing. It includes nine steps to create new experiences, connections, and a positive outlook. Putting the charter into practice enables us to maintain good health by avoiding stress, boosting our mood, and ensuring we stay healthy.


Turn off and tune out

Taking time off is of course also essential to our mental and physical wellbeing. That is why we introduced Spring Vibes, a way for our people to disconnect and enjoy three Friday afternoons off in April, May and June.

Outfit the office

As remote working has been the norm, we offered our people the opportunity to select office furniture via My Benefits My Choice, a rewards platform that allows Deloitte employees to choose the benefits that best meet their individual needs.

Building our Next Normal together

When our physical work-life changed overnight, so did we. But now, as more and more people are being vaccinated, we are on the verge of a new era, sometimes referred to as the Next Normal. With a keen focus on continuing collaboration, learning, and on having fun together, our Next Normal is all about meeting in person, but also connecting in ways that fit everyone’s needs. We continue to promote flexibility as there’s no ‘one size fits all’ solution and respect the different needs and preferences of all our people. Through a series of collaboration guidelines, we’re ushering in a new hybrid way of working that allows us to build our Next Normal together, starting today.
