“We aim to provide a workplace culture characterised by inclusive everyday behaviours and built on a foundation of respect and appreciation for diversity in all its forms. We take seriously our responsibility to listen, learn and lead the change we wish to see in the world.”

Inge Diels, Managing Partner Talent

Our inclusive talent culture

Fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where our people feel valued, accepted, and encouraged to be their authentic selves is central to our Purpose of making an impact that matters.

Personal development is a lifelong process, and we believe it is imperative to equip our future leaders with the support and tools they need to continue their learning journey and reinforce their capabilities along the way.

Through our Senior Manager Development Journey, we’ve launched an inclusive programme built around a three-pronged framework that focuses on our shared values, personal attributes, and leadership capabilities.

As the world rapidly changes and becomes more complex, so do the expectations of our clients. With programmes like our Senior Manager Development Journey, we’re taking meaningful steps to invest in our talent and prepare them for the next steps in their careers.

A shared understanding of inclusion

Diversity enriches our lives and adds value to our organisation. With the All-In Activation Lab, our leaders discover how biases can negatively impact teams and learn insights on what an individual can do in their daily lives to positively influence inclusion.

All-In workshops are filled with inspiring discussions that lead to real change and ultimately, lead to  more well-rounded and successful teams.

As part of our International Women’s Day celebration, Dr. Marion Debruyne, Dean of Vlerick Business School and Professor in Marketing Strategy & Innovation, was invited to speak at our Deloitte Inspires webinar, a programme that showcases speakers from all walks of life and various fields of expertise. She highlighted the value of Purpose within an organisation, why we should always pursue innovation, and the importance of calling out gender bias and inequality.

In June, Rachael Moore from the Rainbow Nation Brussels took part in a knowledge-sharing webinar organised by our GLOBE network and hosted by Inge Diels, Managing Partner Talent. She spoke about sexuality, gender, the differences between the two, and how to create a safe space for conversations.

Over the summer, we teamed up once again to celebrate the 2021 Antwerp Pride event. As a proud sponsor and supporter of the Rainbow Roller Skating activity, our people and their friends and families, as well as the general public to lace up their skates and ride around the Rainbow Roller Skating rink in the Pride village.

Celebrations and conversations on diversity and inclusion happen all year round, and all of our people are encouraged to take part.
