Mid-term evaluation of the eGovernment Action Plan 2011 - 2015
A study prepared for the European Commission DG Communications Networks, Content & Technology
Deloitte has supported the European Commission in making an assessment of the progress made on a total of 40 actions set in the eGovernment Action Plan in the period 2011-2015.
Assessing progress in the EU on eGovernment
The eGovernment Action Plan 2011-2015 contains 40 actions linked to four key priorities:
· User empowerment,
· Internal market,
· Efficiency and effectiveness of governments and public administrations,
· Pre-conditions for eGovernment.
Our assessment of these actions provides key insights for the European Commission and Member States on the progress made and areas that require attention in view of completing the planned actions towards the end of 2015. Details of the assessment can be found in our report as well as on the dedicated online platform.
Through an innovative online platform
The study team developed a website, available at www.egovap-evaluation.eu, which serves as a communication tool where the European Commission and Member States can share their progress and related evidence on the implementation of the Actions under their responsibility. The European Commission and Member States continue to update their progress using this new and innovative platform.
