Rik Vandenberghe, CEO of BESIX GROUP
Currently CEO of BESIX GROUP, Rik Vandenberghe has over 30 years of experience. He started his career in 1984 at ING (formerly BBL). He held the position of CEO of ING Luxembourg for 6 years and in 2013 he was appointed CEO of ING Belgium. As of 2015 Rik Vandenberghe took up additionally the role of Chairman of Febelfin, the federation of the Belgian financial sector. During his banking career, Rik Vandenberghe frequently interacted with the construction and real estate industries. At several instances, he came into close contact with BESIX Group. His first experience with BESIX goes back to 2004, when he acted as a close financial advisor to the Group within the framework of the management buy-out. Later on Rik Vandenberghe was closely involved with the activities of the Group, through financing several of its real estate projects. Rik Vandenberghe is leading BESIX since April 2017, and is determined to reinforce its multidisciplinary offerings in line with its strategic ambitions. Pierre Sémont, Chief Transformation Officer at AXA
Pierre Semont is the Chief Transformation Officer at AXA Investment Managers Real Assets. Semont leads the dedicated multi-disciplinary team in charge of the development and implementation of the AXA IM Real Assets Transformation Programme, which aims to sharpen its operating model and focus its organisational structure to help drive future growth and protect competitiveness. Prior to taking on the role of CTO in January 2018, Semont held various positions at AXA Investment Managers and worked for BNP Paribas and Ixis CIB.
