2017 Q3 Belgian CFO Survey
Skilled labour scarcity threatens growth prospects
Business sentiment has stabilised in the third quarter and remains optimistic. CFO optimism, one of the key indicators of the CFO survey remains at the highest levels we have witnessed in years. CFOs feel optimistic about the prospects of their company, and are also looking more positively at overall Belgian Economic Growth. The median expectation is that growth in 2017 will be somewhere between 1,5% and 2% of GDP, which is in line with the expectations set out by the National Bank of Belgium.
