How is the Fast 50 ranking and revenue growth calculated?

Award winners are determined based on the fiscal year percentage revenue growth over a defined period. Because the programme ranks companies based on fiscal year revenues, it is an indication of past growth. It does not take into account current performance or profitability.

For the 2022 edition, companies are ranked based on fiscal year revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. The percentage revenue growth is calculated by subtracting the year one revenue from the year four revenue, divided by the year one revenue.

How is the Rising Star winner selected and what is the process?

In the Rising Star competition, the key is revenue potential rather than revenue growth.

The Rising Star participants will be invited to submit a well-developed investor pitch and present their two-minute elevator pitch on Wednesday 21 September 2022. They will receive an invitation to present their final pitches to an external jury of industry experts on Thursday 27 October 2022, the day the Fast 50 and Rising Star winners will be announced.

Are revenues published?
