In an increasingly connected world, transitioning to remote working due to the COVID-19 pandemic has been relatively smooth for most office workers. The use of a variety of technologies is helping us to stay connected and maintain business continuity. We have adapted to a new way of working, which is likely to evolve for some time to come.
More than a third of Belgian respondents worked from home. Only 8 percent of the respondents who work have been furloughed.
Forty-five percent of them claimed that it was easier than working from an office, while 30 percent found it more difficult.
Just over 3 in 10 of those working from home found that they were working longer hours, 29 percent said they were used to working on larger/more monitors in the office, and just over a quarter missed face-to-face interactions.
