School of the future

What better way to understand the way children see the world of tomorrow than by simply asking them?

Deloitte Digital went to a school and asked 10-12 year old students one simple thing: "What does the school of the future look like?".

Not surprisingly, every child has their own version. But they all had three principles in common: dreaming, innovating and having fun.

Games, robot bus drivers, holograms, flying scooters: children told us what they think would make the school of the future better than the school of today.

As the main stakeholders, who would ignore what they think?

Children are the customers, the consumers, the users of tomorrow

Listening to what they have to say will bring two benefits:

  1. First, they will give ideas you would never have thought about yourself. Children have no limits when dreaming about their future. The only limit, is the one you give them.
  2. Second, they will tell you what they really want. And understanding what your customers of tomorrow need will guide you on how your business, your products, your service should evolve in the coming years.
