Deloitte Central Europe launches Tax & Legal Business Delivery Solutions practice

The practice comprises a core hub in Sofia and specialist teams across Central Europe and will support the delivery of a wide range of business services to Deloitte clients internationally.

Deloitte marked the occasion with an event on 23 April in Balkan Business Centre that was attended by the Mayor of Sofia Municipality Mr. Vasil Terziev, the Deputy Mayor responsible for Legal and Administrative Control Mr. Nikola Lyutov, the Executive Director of the Bulgarian Investment Agency Ms. Mila Nenova, and respected representatives of leading universities in Bulgaria.

26.04.2024, Sofia - Deloitte Central Europe is pleased to announce the launch of the Tax & Legal Business Delivery Solutions practice. Its team operates seamlessly as a centre of delivery excellence, comprising a core hub in Sofia and specialist teams across Central Europe. Through it we provide our clients with tax, finance, accounting, technology development, and legal business support compliance and reporting services.

Deloitte’s regional delivery capabilities in Central Europe tap into a talent pool of nearly 2500 tax advisory specialists and lawyers, plus more than 500 delivery professionals in tax, finance, accounting, legal compliance, and technology development. Professionally fluent in more than 20 languages, these committed specialists work seamlessly across locations and facilitate the delivery of services to the firm’s clients in both Central Europe and the EMEA region, and are available to engage on large-scale global managed services projects within the Deloitte member firm network, spanning over 175 countries and territories.

The team in Sofia currently comprises 50 professionals, primarily college graduates with backgrounds in economics, finance, and accounting. We continue working on cultivating the practice and aim to increase the team size to 500 professionals within the next few years.
