Canada Summer Games – Sherbrooke 2013
Deloitte is a signature partner and official professional services provider to the Canada Summer Games–Sherbrooke 2013, August 2 to 17.
From August 2 to August 17, 2013, Sherbrooke welcomes Canada’s young athletes at the 2013 Canada Games, where Deloitte plays a prominent role as a Signature Partner. We are very proud that our firm has been designated the official professional services supplier of this sporting journey. Our 10-year partnering agreement with the Canada Games includes the following events:
- Halifax (2011)
- Sherbrooke (2013)
- Prince George (2015)
- And other, yet-to-be named cities in Manitoba (2017) and Alberta (2019)
A springboard to the Olympics
Today, the Canada Games are the largest multi-sport event for young Canadian athletes and provide an important springboard for those who aspire to compete in the Olympic Games. Several famous athletes like Sydney Crosby, Steve Nash and Catriona Le May Doan have participated in these games. The Canada Games, which are held every two years (alternating between winter and summer games) in a different province and territory for each edition, have brought more than 100,000 athletes together so far.
