In 2015, Deloitte acquired the Asset Performance Group (APG), a leading Canadian asset reliability consultancy. Asset Performance Management (APM), the keystone of Deloitte’s Operations Excellence group, was established from this acquisition.

APM combines the international resources and client service excellence of Deloitte with the specialized skills and proven field experience of APG. The combination offers clients a comprehensive, creative, end-to-end set of services in physical asset reliability, asset management and maintenance work management improvement.

APM helps companies in a wide range of capital-intensive industries, but has a particular focus on energy and resources. This group maintains and improves the performance of physical assets, such as processing plants, by using proven methods to analyze, quantify and deliver better equipment performance and financial results.
