Alexander Lourie

Alexander leads Deloitte’s Modelling and Value Advisory Services for Ontario. He focuses on helping clients understand the financial and value implications of critical strategic and operational decisions. Alexander has been involved in several large-scale and complex value advisory projects, including valuations of intangible assets, fairness opinions, solvency opinions, valuations for tax purposes, complex financial modeling, and litigation support.

He has extensive experience in dispute resolution, especially in the area of tax-related valuations, and works closely with tax lawyers and their clients to help with their unique challenges. Alexander’s experience spans numerous industries, including infrastructure, real estate, public sector, technology, entertainment, gaming, and manufacturing.

From 2016 to 2019, he served as a director on the board of the Chartered Business Valuators Institute, representing the Greater Toronto Area. During his tenure, Alexander chaired the Accreditation Committee and was an active member of the Professional Practice and Standards Committee. He has presented numerous times to law firms on the topics of financial accounting and business valuations.
