La Tour Deloitte

Candice Maxis is Deloitte Canada’s National Leader of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She focuses on developing and executing the firm’s Inclusion vision, which is to incorporate inclusion into every aspect of our business - our internal processes, our people, and our client work. On a daily basis, her goal is to inspire others to develop their full potential, while helping under-represented voices to feel seen, heard and supported in a constructive way.
Described as an authentic and determined woman, she has acquired almost 15 years of experience in Human Resources Advisory with world-class employers such as Coca-Cola and Intact Financial Corporation. Her determination, business acumen and sense of humor have led her to remarkable achievements, including the implementation of best practices in performance management, talent management and structural change.
Candice holds a bachelor's degree in human resources management from ESG-UQÀM and she’s a member of the Human Resources Professional Association of Quebec. Eager to be a role model for the younger generation, she is socially involved and acts occasionally as a keynote speaker. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Montreal East Chamber of Commerce and was nominated by Canada International Black Women Event (CIBWE) as one of the 100 black women to watch in Canada in 2019. She was also selected by Concertation Montréal (CMTL), as one of the 2019 ambassadors of the Group of Thirty, which aims to promote diversity on boards of directors and inspire other talented people to follow in their footsteps.
