Michael is a partner in Deloitte’s Consulting practice and is the Life Sciences and Health Care (LS&HC) leader for Canada and Chile. He has been on Deloitte Canada’s Board of Directors for the past 7 years, and is co-chair of the board’s Strategy, Ethics and Risk Committee. Michael brings over 30 years of international consulting experience with a focus on large-scale, complex transformation programs. He is known for his creative change strategies and outstanding client focus, working with boards and executive teams to deliver on major change programs.
As LS&HC Leader, he focuses on helping to improve the quality and cost of service delivery while positively impacting the health and well-being of our citizens and communities. Michael is also executive sponsor for our health assets (smart hospitals, HealthConnect and Health interoperability) and is leading our Smart health communities program.
He recently led Deloitte’s clients and industries portfolio, and was responsible for sales, delivery, and account management across our top Canadian client portfolio. He has worked in 25 countries around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, France, India, and Singapore. Previous leadership roles include director of operations for Consulting across Ontario and Quebec, and Human Capital leader across 15 countries in Europe.
He has broad experience in consulting senior executives in areas of governance, program and project management, performance management, operations reviews, cost reduction, leadership alignment, organization design, culture change, workforce transition and communications.
