Simon King

Simon is a Partner within Deloitte Consulting and leads the M&A Consulting practice in Canada, having moved over from the UK firm in 2017. He has over 20 years of experience advising clients across multiple industries and has led numerous engagements across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as being part of several of the largest M&A deals in history.

Simon focusses on helping clients deliver successful M&A integrations/separations, in a way that minimizes the risk to business continuity while delivering on the value creation opportunities that predicated the deal. He specializes in the delivery of operating model transformation, organization change and strategic cost reduction initiatives, in support of M&A transactions, corporate turnarounds and more broadly to improve the general operating performance of the businesses he works with. Prior to joining Deloitte Simon worked for over a decade at Vodafone Group, leaving as a VP accountable for the integration/consolidation of the technology assets Vodafone acquired through their various acquisitions around the world. He holds an MBA from London Business School (UK) and a Bachelors in Applied Computing.
