Life at Deloitte

One of the reasons I chose to work for Deloitte was because of its expansive global network. The prospect of having access to a diverse network of professionals, as well as the potential for global mobility is what appealed the most to me. I started with Deloitte in the Chicago office. I was there for about three years before making the decision to take advantage of that global network by joining the Deloitte Bermuda office, where I am now an Audit Manager. In Bermuda, my career has flourished as I have begun to specialize in the reinsurance industry, while also being involved in various internal initiatives.

Another reason I chose Deloitte initially was because of the people that I met, and this continues to be one of the reasons that I have thrived in the organization. While I was an intern, I recall interacting with Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners and being in awe of their advanced knowledge and expertise in the field. It was something that I aspired to. I have been incredibly fortunate to work alongside such talented professionals, which has elevated my skillset technically. Not only am I learning from the best in the profession, but they have also provided me with the support and tools that I need to elevate my career. I cherish the interpersonal connections that I have made with my colleagues; many of which are friendships that will last a lifetime.
