Life at Deloitte

When I received the offer to join the Deloitte team I was ecstatic, in-fact I had a few offers from other companies and an interview lined up which I promptly turned down. The opportunity to embark on a career at the premier international firm was too enticing to pass up.

Deloitte for me is a place to grow into your fullest potential. The company invests heavily in its people and encourages them to stay current in their respective fields. Training to improve your skills set and expand the depth of your abilities is part of the corporate DNA at the firm.

We are always evolving and pushing to be at the forefront. By utilizing new technologies, we have become a highly efficient and effective company. As an IT professional working within an audit firm, my role is behind the scenes so-to-speak and yet my impact is very tangible as my work is deeply intertwined within the daily flow of the business. It is fulfilling to know that personally, my efforts enable the other members of the organization to be as effective as possible.

Being surrounded by professionals who are driven and focused makes success a foregone conclusion. It is this type of atmosphere and class of people that I envisioned and some three years later, choosing Deloitte has been one of the best decisions for my career.
