Marcin Czarnocki | Cayman Islands

Marcin Czarnocki is a Director with the Financial Advisory department of Deloitte in the Cayman Islands.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and practiced as a public company auditor for 3 years in South Africa. In 2010, Marcin relocated to the Cayman Islands and practiced as an auditor in the financial services industry for a further 2 years.

Marcin has over 9 years’ experience specializing in providing restructuring advice and managing insolvency engagements in the Cayman Islands. Marcin has significant experience in managing complex cross-border insolvency appointments involving fraud investigations, litigation, asset realisation and stakeholder dispute resolution. He continues to manage solvent and insolvent liquidations of entitles, including investment funds, banks and holding company structures domiciled in the Cayman Islands and around the Caribbean region.

Marcin is a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants, the Recovery & Insolvency Specialists’ Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors. Outside of the office, Marcin volunteers his time as a board member of a non-profit organisation promoting squash in the Cayman Islands.
