Alex is a member of both the Community Ambassadors Team and Well-Being Committee, and she has made her impact through Deloitte platforms, and other personal drives.

I appreciate that this is a very difficult time for community and it's more important than ever to give back. To support Deloitte led initiatives, I donated to Meals on Wheels and Feed our Future during Deloitte’s COVID-19 charity drive.

I also realized the important of supporting local business and made an effort to support local yoga (Bliss) and restaurants, especially those who work closely with charities (e.g., Lighthouse).

In recognition of the mental health importance during the time of uncertainty, I have also donated my time (what I had left after busy year end time) to support the 100 Women in Finance Mid-Career Bridge group and helped organize a webinar that was dedicated to the topic of emotional challenges during uncertain times that we face. I have also served as an Executive member of Business and Professional Women Club supporting the Club's initiatives and its collaboration with other agencies, such as Family Resource Center and Red Cross.

I find that donating your time for a right cause is very rewarding and brings a sense of community support. I would encourage everyone to find the cause that is close to their heart and give back to the community!
