Michael Yacyshyn

Mike is a partner in the Audit Department of the Cayman Islands firm.  He is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant with over 23 years' public accounting experience working in the financial services industry, in both Canada and in the Cayman Islands.  Mike has been with Deloitte in the Cayman Islands for over 17 years, where he specializes in audits of alternative investment companies.

Mike’s broad skillset and extensive experience in the financial services industry, with special focus on the investment management sector, have allowed him to successfully lead client engagements at local, regional and global level. He currently oversees audits on various corporate structures.

Mike is a licensed practitioner with the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants, as well as a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta, Canada. He is actively involved in the Cayman community, volunteering for local sports associations and educational programs, and participating in relevant industry-related conferences.
