Yvonne Plamondon is an experienced appointment-taking Director at Deloitte Cayman Islands' Financial Advisory practice. Originally from the UK where she practiced in restructuring for 7 years, Yvonne moved to the Cayman Islands in 2013. Since then, she has focused on providing restructuring advice and liquidation services to Cayman Islands domiciled investment funds and complex cross-border group structures.
Yvonne is a Chartered Accountant and UK Qualified Insolvency Practitioner. She holds the Brainspace Analyst certification and is experienced in digital forensics and fraud investigations, particularly within an insolvency context. Yvonne’s recent experience also includes acting as joint voluntary liquidator over a group of alternative investment funds, as well as investigating and pursuing actions in a complex fraud spanning multiple jurisdictions.
Yvonne serves on the Board of Directors of the Cayman Islands’ chapter of International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation and on the INSOL International Webinar Series Committee. She is also a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants, the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation, 100 Women in Finance, INSOL International, as well as the Cayman Islands chapter of the Recovery & Insolvency Specialists’ Association.
In addition to her leadership role in our Financial Advisory practice, Yvonne serves on the Firm’s Corporate Responsibility Committee, as a WorldClass Champion. In this role, she leads the signature WorldClass initiative ‘Thrive By Five’ by local Non-profit Literacy is for Everyone ‘LIFE’. The partnership and initiative focus on providing high-quality Early Childhood intervention programs for teachers, families and their children in underserved preschools across the Cayman Islands.
