Deloitte’s 18th Global Chemicals Think Tank will focus on the following sessions:
The focus will be on the interface between energy and chemicals, industry rivalry and structure triggered by three underlying drivers.
Overview
This bi-annual learning session has grown to a highly reputable and thought-provoking event that attracts over 120 international leaders from across the business and academia ecosystem. Although the focus of the Think Tank originates from the chemical industry, the thinking and ideas are broad and includes insights across all industries. Past events included C-suite executive presenters from Koch Industries, Eastman Chemicals, BMW, Mexichem, Harley-Davison, and Ashland Chemicals, as well as other top executives from ABB Technology, GE, Caterpillar, BASF SE, Syngenta, Evonik, and Solvay. Think Tank participants will have the opportunity to interact/network with leaders and engage in the discussion.
What to Expect
The Think Tank agenda is designed to focus on the event theme of “The Industrial Dynamics between Energy and Chemicals.” The session will address top-of-mind issues on the following themes: the feedstock advantage, material transition, and energy transition. The event will host highly interactive discussions which will yield provocative insights.
