Privacy Consent

In order to submit the application and take part in the Competition we ask you to provide through the submission form your personal data and other information required for ensuring its high objectivity and accuracy (collectively: “the Data”). By sending the form you agree for your Data to be processed by Deloitte Central Europe Service Centre, s.r.o. (with its registered office at Italská 2581/67, Vinohrady, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic; hereinafter: “Deloitte”) acting as data controller within the meaning of Article 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.

Your personal data (name, surname, e-mail address, country of workplace, and any other personal data submitted by you) will be processed for the purposes of “2019 CE Impact Awards” (hereinafter: the “Competition”) management, including fulfilling regulatory requirements. 2019 CE Impact Awards is a competition offered to any individual engaged in DCE region. That is why Deloitte may transfer the Data to its affiliates and related entities within Deloitte Central Europe for the purposes specified above, and contact you in all matters relating to the Competition. Deloitte entities processing Data are ISO 27001 certified. In order to provide high convenience in the Competition management, the Data will be processed on our behalf by our partner Confirmit Ltd. (with its registered office at Blue Fin Building, 110 Southwark Street, London SE1 0SU, UK) and by our copywriting partners. The period for which the Data will be stored is 2 years. After this period expires the Data will be permanently deleted.

Your consent is voluntary, but the provision of the Data is necessary to participate in the Competition – in other words, if you do not provide your personal data and/or do not consent for their processing, Deloitte will be unable to proceed with your submission. Provided you have given your consent to our processing of the Data for above specified purposes, your consent forms the basis for the legality of such processing. Consent already granted can be revoked at any time. Revocation of consent does not affect the legality of the data processing that occurred prior to revocation, but will result in withdrawing you from the Competition.

Your rights:

You have your right to:

  • request access to your personal data (and request a copy of the personal data that we process),
  • request us to update and correct your personal data (right to rectification),
  • request us to delete your personal data (where possible), or
  • require a restriction on the processing of your data.

You may object to the processing (in certain cases as specified by GDPR), as well as execute your right to data portability (receive a copy of personal data which you provided to us in a structured machine –readable format and request us to transmit such data to another data recipient).

You can also contact CEprivacy@deloittece.com for any questions related to processing your personal data including the security safeguards when transferring the data outside of the EU region.

It is also your right to lodge a complaint with a local data protection supervisory authority in the country of your residence in case you are of an opinion that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
