Our recruitment process

What you need to know to become part of our team

We are passionate about finding the right people and building the best teams. Find out how our recruitment process works, how we learn about you – and how you can learn more about us.

The best way to take the first step towards a career at Deloitte? Find a job that ignites your passion on our job portal and send us your application. You should include the following along with your application:

  • A complete CV
  • A personalized, informative cover letter (depending on the role).
  • All education certificates (secondary school certificate, diploma, Bachelor's, Master's or PhD).
  • References from internships and permanent positions.
  • Language certificates.

You can attach up to five files to your online application (we recommend that you attach these as PDFs). We would love to see a few sentences talking about you, your goals and your motivation to become a part of Deloitte, so that we can get a taste of who you are. Your cover letter should be included as an attachment.

As soon as we have checked your documents, we will be in touch with information about the next steps, which can include the following:

Initial screening: finding the right match

When you submit your online application, it will be forwarded to the correct recruitment team member directly. They will then assess your experience to see how well it matches the job description featured on our website. The more information you provide to demonstrate a good match, the better. We aim to get back to you within two weeks of submitting your application. Our graduate candidates will then complete a short test to assess cognitive and behavioral skills, before they will able the interview stage.

Interviews: show us who you are and learn more about us

After the screenings, it’s time for the interviews. Depending on the specific role you’ve applied for, we may ask you to join a telephone, video or face to face interview with one of our hiring managers. They will ask you questions about your motivation to become part of Deloitte and to learn more about you. It is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about your role or Deloitte. Depending on the role, we may also ask you to complete a case study and give us your views on how you would tackle a client’s business problems, for example. You will work on it (if required) online from home. After your first interview or completion of the case study, you will advance to the second round of talks: In a face to face or virtual interview, you will get to know our culture and learn more about your role. After that, you may have the opportunity to get to know your future teammates and ask any informal questions you may have during a casual team coffee chat.

Offer: you got it!

You’re almost there. After case studies and interviews, it’s time for one last meeting: If we think that you are the right match for the respective role, the team and Deloitte as a company, we will invite you to a final interview. There we talk about your competencies and motivation and assess whether you are the right fit for your team. Seize this moment to ask any questions that matter to you, such about how we can support you in your personal and professional development. If we all agree on you being the perfect match for the role and team, you will receive a phone call from the hiring manager to congratulate you on your new job. Well done and welcome to Deloitte.
