The Firm strives to have the necessary IT infrastructure in place to enable employees to work effectively when outside of the office. Working remotely means working in a flexible way – whether our employees work at client sites, in transit (including hotels and airports) or at home.
Purchase of additional holidays
After at least one year of employment with Deloitte all employees have the right to purchase up to 10 additional holidays (adjusted pro rata for part time employees) per calendar year.
Taking a career break (or unpaid leave) can be a way of enhancing employee’s personal and professional development. Deloitte offers the opportunity to take time out of the employment to pursue alternative interests or activities, while still continuing the employment relationship with the Firm.
A career break can for example focus on:
- The birth or adoption of a child
- Taking care of family needs
- Pursuit of sports-related or other personal goals
- Charity work
- and so on…
For a career break of up to 6 months, Deloitte will make a commitment to continue the employment under the agreed terms and conditions of the employee’s contract.
