Getting to know the Deloitte colleagues during my studies, was a memorable experience. I was very impressed by the international character and diversity of people I would get to collaborate with. Since the very start at Deloitte, I work with highly intelligent and energetic colleagues with an entrepreneurial mind-set. Every single one of them seems to be very successful in their career to date. Additionally, the Swiss subsidiary offers a variety of competencies you can learn, determined by your growth and success. This is a positive added value for the person’s future perspective.

Management Consulting is challenging. The requested work is always on top of the edge and every project or industry you would work in is different.

During my first project at Deloitte, I was helping a transformation project, revising current processes, roles and responsibilities within an organisation. During my second project I was part of a global transformation program in a major Swiss bank where I worked closely with the Senior Management team and it was my responsibility to ensure the transition of work between service lines worldwide.

The learning curve at Deloitte is very steep, due to the different fields I have worked in so far. The experience I have gained and will continue to benefit from, is very valuable.

The thing that’s so important and fascinating at Deloitte is that there’s no such thing as a ‘standard’ working day. The projects and the work relating to them are so dynamic that a carefully thought-out plan can change from one minute to the next. The client’s requirements may have changed or it may be necessary to respond to a new e-mail that was received during the night – either way, we need to be flexible and react quickly.

Our particular Deloitte team spirit certainly helps us adapt to the new conditions, even if it sometimes means working for longer that day, although we can keep this under control by working efficiently.

An unforgettable experience at Deloitte…

My job at Deloitte has allowed me to travel the world. A really special highlight was a workshop week in Asia, where I was able to visit Taiwan, South Korea and Japan in six days. While it was very tiring, as I had to moderate the workshops and we often needed to change the agenda, it was an unforgettable experience, in particular because our Deloitte team got very positive feedback for our work.
