ChairmanChats@DeloitteChina #7: Technological innovation

Published: 30 May 2022

Welcome to the 7th episode of ChairmanChats!

This year’s the government work report has stated that we need to: further implement the innovation-driven development strategy and strengthen the foundations of the real economy; promote scientific and technological innovation to upgrade our industries. “Scientific and technological innovation” has once again become buzzwords, rising wide attention.

Deloitte China is always committed to serving the country with our expertise and contributing to the country’s overall development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. This July, we are going to launch the GBA Innovation Camp with governments and key enterprises in the region to support the integrated development of the GBA and build a top talent platform for the region.

In this episode, I am honored to speak to Margaret Leung, Chair of the Shenzhen Hong Kong Macau Women Directors Alliance, and Peter Mok, Head of Greater Bay Area at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP) to seek their views on the future development of the GBA.

The GBA Innovation Camp is our key initiative this year. Advancing GBA development requires the collaborative effort of governments, businesses, and talent across the region. With concerted efforts and collective wisdom, nothing is impossible. With our courage to break through and try and our determination to be first, we will forge ahead for newer and greater achievements. Let’s Grow Beyond Aspirations!
