Deloitte participates in the first China International Import Expo

At the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) in November 2018, Deloitte will highlight its Digital Difference by exploring a series of hot topics encompassing FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Future of Work, Future of Retail and Smart City/Smart Mobility. In doing so, we will fully demonstrate our thought leadership, innovation practice and solutions from the Deloitte Global network.

The Deloitte Service & Innovation Brochure not only provides an overview of the firm's leading services and its support for the Belt and Road Initiative, but also introduces over 50 innovation services and assets around these hot topics. By leveraging this opportunity, Deloitte hopes to help enterprises adapt and thrive—becoming the disruptors, not being disrupted—well into the age of digital transformation.

CIIE will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from 5-10 November 2018, attracting over 200,000 visitors and 2,900 exhibitors from some 140 countries and regions. It is an open platform for participating countries to demonstrate their achievements and develop international business, as well as an international product showcase supported by the Chinese government to promote economic globalization. The event facilitates countries and regions across the world to strengthen economic cooperation and trade, as well as promote global trade and economic growth to make the world economy more open.

Smart City/Smart Mobility
With the rapid development of digitization, changes in citizens' consumption behaviour and the emergence of new forms of mobility, countries are actively looking for solutions to balance social and economic development, optimize resource allocation and ultimately create a more liveable environment. The "smart city" and "smart mobility" policies implemented by countries leave no doubt about their determination to develop extensively in this direction. Meanwhile, the future development and integration of smart city and smart mobility will be a long-term focus for governments, citizens and enterprises. In light of these trends, Deloitte introduces The Edge, Amsterdam; Digital Command Center & CitySynergy; and the RODAT-Real-Time Origin-Destination Analysis Tool to facilitate effective smart city management.

Future of Work
Work is changing, driven by accelerating connectivity, new talent models and cognitive tools. As robotics, AI, the gig economy and crowds grow; jobs are being reinvented, creating the “augmented workforce". Deloitte provides innovation assets including its Intelligent Warehouse Management System, Persona Portal, Intelligent Cloud Conference System and Deloitte Greenhouse that are helping to reshape the world of work, enabling us to adapt and learn for future growth.

Future of Retail

At CIIE, Deloitte will introduce its Digital Media Performance & Compliance Intelligence, Offline Advertising Monitoring Tool, New Retail Supply Chain Strategy and Implementation, Location Intelligence Service, Mark Down and other innovation assets that are helping to shape the new retail model.

Artificial Intelligence

Fast evolving AI technology is already being used in various areas. Artificial Intelligence is a transformative technology that will drive sustainable competitive advantage by changing work processes, decision-making and interaction. Deloitte's innovation assets including Deloitte Intelligence Service (RPA), Global Trade Radar and Smart Cube are in place to support highly efficient business processes and enhance enterprises' overall competitiveness.

FinTech
The advent of financial technology, or FinTech, has shifted the financial industry paradigm towards collaboration. Emerging technologies are facilitating the growth of cross-border and cross-industry ecosystems. Deloitte provides innovation assets including Deloitte Intelligent Bond, Anti-Money Laundering Robotics and the Mercury Trade Finance Platform to embrace some of these latest developments with the market and regulators.

Cyber Security
With the proliferation of internet-enabled devices, networks are developing far faster than cyber security is being deployed. Everything that rests on cyberspace is potentially at risk.
