Edison Zuo has over 16 years of experience in tax advisory services and holds both CICPA and CTA qualifications.  He is the deputy managing partner of Deloitte Guangzhou office, head of Shanghai Deloitte Tax Ltd. Guangzhou Branch, and Tax Japanese Service Group Leader and Transfer Pricing Service Leader of Deloitte China Southern Region.  Mr. Zuo is well versed in current Chinese regimes, laws and regulations on financial accounting and tax. He has provided a wide range of services, including tax compliance, tax planning and tax audit defense, for numerous enterprises from the automotive, home appliances, electronics, chemical, TMT and other industries.  Mr. Zuo worked in Transfer Pricing Consulting Department of Tokyo Branch, Deloitte Japan, from 2010 to 2012 where he mainly engaged in transfer pricing services and assisted enterprises in communication and coordination with National Tax Agency JAPAN.

Robert Lui is the Government Affairs Unit leader, Hong Kong Digital Asset Leader and Audit & Assurance partner of Deloitte China Southern Region.  He is responsible for the affairs and relationship with Government Units and the development of the Greater Bay Area.  He has assisted more than 50 entities in their IPOs in Hong Kong and actively contributes to the community by being a member of different professional bodies such as universities, hospitals, government units and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Freddie Chui

Markets & Global Network Leader - Financial Services Industry

Freddie is currently Markets and Global Network Leader of Deloitte China in the financial services industry.  He has nearly 30 years of professional experience during which he stationed in Beijing between 2002 and 2008.  He primarily focuses on providing auditing, regulatory examination and reporting, risk advisory and transaction advisory services to internationally leading banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions.  Given his diverse client service experience, Freddie is mainly responsible for our overall client services of a number of the priority clients of Deloitte in the financial services industry over the last few years.  He often works very closely with our colleagues across the globe in assisting the Chinese financial institutions to set up their overseas entities, expand in overseas markets and enhance their regulatory compliance capability.  Freddie also leads a taskforce of financial services practitioners looking closely at the Greater Bay Area policies which will give rise to development and integration of financial markets, and preparing thought leaderships of facilitating financial institutions in planning their business growth in the GBA.
