Shenzhen forum inspires cross-border innovation
This year, the annual conference of Deloitte's Global Chinese Services Group took place on 12 -14 November in Shenzhen. The annual conference gathered Deloitte partners and professionals from nearly 30 countries and regions to explore opportunities for closer collaboration in order to support Chinese companies to enhance their international business operations and competitiveness, as well as the ability to face challenges from uncertainty in today's global economy. Shenzhen is the region's emerging technology powerhouse. On this occasion, Deloitte's GCSG and Deloitte China's Innovation Department jointly organized the Deloitte Cross Border Innovation Forum, attended by nearly 300 government officials and business executives who explored how to drive cross-border innovation and imparted their knowledge on two essential business topics—innovation and incubation.
Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality Deputy Director-General Jiang Likun, Shenzhen Federation of Shenzhen Commerce, Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce Executive President Lin Hui, Foxconn Interconnect Technology Ltd Global COO and CFO Chris Lu, CR Innovation Equity Investment Fund Managing Director Chen Yong, 100Credit CFO Zhao Hongqiang, US Bay Area Council Chief of Global Business Development Del Christensen, and Shenzhen Intellectual Property Promotion Division and Shenzhen Market and Quality Supervision Commission Director Chen Mingang attended as speakers, joining other participants to celebrate collaboration as a new driving force for innovation. At the panel discussion hosted by Deloitte Shenzhen Office Managing Partner Tom Kwok, panellists DJI Business Development Director Zhang Xiaonan, UBTECH CFO Zhang Ju and Royole Strategic Investment Senior Director Gao Xiang shared their insights on the opportunities and challenges in cross-border innovation.
