HKEX ESG Implementation Review and the Improvement of the Enterprise Sustainability Management Seminar

With the acceleration of the globalization process and the further development of sustainability, profound changes in the capital market have been made. Many Exchanges require enterprise disclosure the non-financial information, the responsibility of investment indexes and sustainability standards had been established. It is not only a challenge for listed companies to meet compliance requirements and the changing expectations of stakeholders, but also an opportunity to promote the value of creativity and brand influence through sustainability. In 2015, Hong Kong Exchanges (HKEX) listed the Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) of environmental, social and governance become "comply or explain" obligation, and implement in different stages. In 2016, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) updated the guidelines for sustainability reporting standards. Earlier, the Shanghai Stock Exchange released Guidance on Environmental Information Disclosure of Listed Companies, Corporate Social Responsibility Report - writing guideline and Shenzhen Stock Exchange published The Listed Company Social Responsibility Guidelines etc., releasing the positive signal about promoting the sustainable development by the China Capital Market.
In the purpose of assisting enterprise to adapt to the market changes under the influence of the sustainability, grasp the latest regulatory requirements and the future development trends, Deloitte will hold the Environmental, Social and Governance seminars in both Beijing and Hong Kong. The Beijing Seminar will be held on 23 May 2017. The Seminar is based on the theme of "The HKEX ESG Implementation Review and The Improvement of the Enterprise Sustainability Management", to share the latest regulatory requirements, to summarize and investigate the implementation of the first year ESG disclosure and the exchange of the advanced practices, and under the circumstance of the growing importance of the sustainability, to explore the governance of the listed company, to advance the sustainability of the enterprise, and to achieve the value creation.
