What does the Oriental Hollywood need?
The strategy of Wanda’s cultural business has subverted the traditional cultural industry, from content driven to multi-functional and fixed-asset driven, attracting tangible assets and exploring the industrial chain from the end to the top. After the acquisition of US's AMC cinema chain (ranked 2nd in the world), the Chinese company is now owner of both AMC and Wanda's theatres (ranked 1st in Asia). But what else does the Oriental Hollywood need? Would the Chinese version of Hollywood become a reality?
