Our leadership team in Bermuda offers wide-ranging technical and commercial expertise, along with the market insight to help you meet your business goals. As part of a network of more than 550 professionals across the Caribbean and Bermuda Countries, and more than 150 countries and territories globally, we have the capacity and capability to address the most complex business challenges.
John Johnston is the CEO of the member firm serving the Caribbean and Bermuda region. John leads all aspects of Deloitte’s operations in the region, and is also the managing partner of the Bermuda office where he specializes in financial services audit and advisory work. John has served as Lead Client Services Partner for some of Bermuda’s most significant insurance and reinsurance companies. He has a deep understanding of the associated regulatory environments, US public company reporting requirements, and PCAOB requirements. John has led several Bermuda companies through the financial reporting and regulatory aspects of IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and SEC comment letters. He has significant experience with the internal control requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act and associated audit requirements. John also sits on the Americas Executive Committee of Deloitte.
