I am currently the Chair of Deloitte New Zealand. Prior to this I served as the Firm’s Chief Executive for 10 years and before then the Firm’s Managing Tax Partner for 13 years.
As a Tax Partner, I advised extensively on tax policy, international tax, tax controversy and mergers & acquisitions. I have provided corporate tax advice to some of New Zealand’s largest organisations and am internationally recognised as a leading tax advisor. As the Chief Executive, I led the Firm to materially outperform the market taking it to a market leading position, following achieving the same success leading the national tax business.
I also sit on the Deloitte Asia Pacific Board and was previously on the Deloitte Asia Pacific Regional Executive. Deloitte Asia Pacific has management and governance responsibility for the Deloitte operations in Australia, China, Japan, Korea, NZ, SEA and Taiwan.
