Deloitte Real Estate Market Sentiment - 4th edition

It is with great pleasure that we share with you the 4^th edition edition of the Deloitte Real Estate Market Sentiment. This is a survey that covers the main trends in the evolution of the Real Estate sector in Portugal, according to the Deloitte Portugal Real Estate team and that is conducted on a quarterly basis.

Overall, the majority of respondents (59%) believe that the Real Estate sector has seen a positive evolution in the last 3 months.

Regarding the evolution for the next quarter, expectations are evenly distributed, with just over a third of respondents considering that the sector will evolve positively.

According to respondents, the main variables that will have a positive impact on the evolution of the Real Estate sector in the next quarter are demand (58%), the entry of new players (58%) and urban rehabilitation (50%).

On the other hand, property taxation (67%) is the most prominent variable that could have a negative impact on the evolution of the sector.
