Women’s keelboat team clinches Gold
Singapore’s sailors cranked up the gears yesterday and netted four golds out of the six on offer at the National Sailing Centre at East Coast Parkway.
Terena Lam, Deloitte Student Ambassador, was part of the women’s keelboat fleet racing quartet, which also included teammates Jovina Choo, Dawn Liu and Daniella Ng. They won this event, beating Malaysia (silver) and Thailand (bronze) and finished the day with the Republic’s fourth gold for sailing.

Women’s basketball team dominates in opening match
Singapore’s women’s basketball team dominated from the start to thrash Vietnam 99-58 in their first match of the SEA Games. Sharlene Li, Audit Manager, is part of the 13-women roster who competed in the game.

Team Singapore Netball Interview Session
The Team Singapore Netball team was interviewed by Voxsports about their thoughts on clinching the gold medal after a 14-year wait, and defeating bitter rivals, Malaysia 46-43 in the finals. This interview featured Clients & Markets Assistant Manager & Team Singapore Netball captain, Micky Lin and Associate, Regulatory & Compliance, GFSI and Team Singapore netball player, Charmaine Soh.
