James Wright

James is an international tax partner based in London and has more than 25 years’ experience advising large multinationals across a range of industries. He has particular experience advising on structuring, financing, reorganisations, disposals, mergers and acquisitions together with the associated capital flows. James has also held a number of leadership positions in the UK including leading the TMT and Life Sciences industries for the UK tax practice, he was also the Clients and Markets leader for the UK tax practice from 2011 until 2017 and was a member of Deloitte's UK Tax Executive team from 2009-2017. He is currently a Vice-Chair of the UK firm and is focused on leading large client relationships in the TMT and life Sciences industries.
