Kirsty Newman

Leadership

Kirsty is the Market Chair of Deloitte LLP. She builds relationships with UK Boards and government policymakers, and leads Deloitte’s Vice Chairs group, collectively creating connections to support the firm’s clients and people.

She also serves as Deloitte North & South Europe (NSE) leader of Deloitte Private and serves on the NSE Executive, developing the firm’s business strategy and performance.

She is the co-Chair of Deloitte’s Global Family Office Advisory Board.

Kirsty was Managing Partner, UK Private, from 2016 until June 2019, before joining the NSE Executive as Managing Partner, NSE Private. During this period, she was also Deloitte’s Global Private Tax Leader, on Deloitte’s Global Tax & Legal Executive. 

Experience

Kirsty started her career with Deloitte as a tax consultant and has been a partner for over 20 years. She advises private companies, their owners and family offices.

Kirsty is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW) and of the Chartered Institute of Tax (CIOT).

Other positions and interests

Kirsty represents Deloitte on the Professional and Business Services Council, which works with the UK’s Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy to drive the growth agenda.

She enjoys exercising and leisure travel.
