Comunicado de Prensa

Press release

San José – September 8, 2017. Our approach is and always has been to provide our customers with high quality services in the context of a globalized world. Deloitte Costa Rica has renewed its Tax & Legal division with professionals committed to the ethical values that have characterized our Firm for more than 50 years.

Deloitte Costa Rica's new Tax & Legal practice, together with our global network of 245,000 professionals is enthusiastic, optimistic and prepared for the future.

At Deloitte Costa Rica we maintain the commitment acquired with our clients and our Legal & Tax practice has a team of professionals to attend them, with the excellence and integrity they deserve. We continue to operate normally, thanks to the incorporation of ICS Abogados, led by Mr. Francisco Villalobos, thanks to the support of Deloitte Global and our offices in Central America. Also we are glad to inform of the return to Deloitte of a considerable number of professionals, who presented their resignation and decided, a few days later, to return to our Firm.

We recommend being cautious about disclosures regarding staff separation. Deloitte Costa Rica's Tax & Legal division is not operating under a "new brand", and has never planned to cease operations in the country.

We remain strong and focused on meeting the needs of our customers.

During the next few days we will be contacting you to continue coordinating the work in process, however, if you have any urgent matter or whish for additional information below please find the contacts of the leaders in Tax & Legal, with whom you may communicate at any time:
