Implementation of Decisions N° 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the Free Trade Comission – Free Trade Agreement between Costa Rica and Colombia

Through Decrees No. N° 40514-COMEX, N° 40489-COMEX, N° 40502-COMEX, N° 40493-COMEX y N° 40496-COMEX published in the Gazette No. 142 of July 27th 2017, the Ministry of Foreign Trade enacts Decisions N° 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 issued by the Free Trade Commission of the Free Trade Agreement between Costa Rica and Colombia. These Decisions are related to the following provisions:

  • Decree No. 40514-COMEX - Decision No. 5
    Formation of Professional Services Working Group.
  • Decree No. 40489-COMEX - Decision No. 6
    Rules to the Dispute Settlement Procedure under Chapter 18.
  • Decree No. 40502-COMEX - Decision No. 7
    Code of Conduct for Panelists of Chapter 18.
  • Decree No. 40493-COMEX - Decision No. 8
    Remuneration and payment of panelists, assistants and experts part of the Dispute Settlement Procedure.
  • Decree No. 40496-COMEX - Decision No. 9
    Indicative list of national panelists and non-party states panelists under chapter 18.

The Decisions will come into effect since their publication in the official Gazette.
