Phani Philippou

Phani serves as a Tax Senior Manager in the Tax & Legal (T&L) department of Deloitte Cyprus, specialising in corporate and personal taxation. She is engaged in the provision of tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients consisting from large international groups to locally owned and managed businesses, including entities holding and managing intellectual property in Cyprus.

Phani began her career with Deloitte in 2007 joining the Audit & Assurance department, serving clients in the sectors of investment holding, trading as well as regulated investment firms. Following her transfer to the Tax & Legal department in 2014 and combining her 7-year audit experience, Phani provides tax compliance and advisory services of high quality to her clients. She was involved in a number of tax advisory projects for the restructuring of international businesses owing intellectual property aiming to set up and operate tax efficiently from Cyprus, as well as tax due diligence projects and corporate and financing restructurings on which she has accumulated significant expertise.

In conjunction with her role as a Tax Senior Manager, Phani is a member of Tax & Legal QRM team, and is involved in quality and risk matters of her department. Phani graduated from University of Cyprus in 2007 and holds a Bachelor Degree in Public and Business Administration. She is a Certified Accountant, member of the ICAEW and of the Cyprus Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 2010.
