When we were considering to whom and how we would provide long term help, we thought of the elderly, because they are often forgotten. Disabled athletes, because they have to face many more obstacles and challenges than their healthier counterparts. The ill and the infirm, because they cannot do at all without help.

But we didn’t question why we should be helping them. We considered it to be a normal part of our everyday life. We had our employees as a model, as they very actively seek opportunities to provide help, both financial, when they organise collections among themselves, and manual, if it is needed to repair, paint or improve something. They also offer their knowledge and skills to students, start-ups and organisations from the non-profit sector in the form of free consultancy. They also take an active part in the debate on the quality and level of the business environment in the Czech Republic.

There are many opportunities how to help those who really need it, and every one of them counts. However small it is, it can be of tremendous significance.

We cannot do only business, despite the fact that it’s what our work primarily consists of. We also have to be interested in what happens around us. Offering help to those who really need it is the least we can do for society and, in fact, for all of us. After all, we want to be proud of our firm, and not only as a financially successful business. At the same time, we have to think about the overall impact of our business, so we also keep in mind the environmental policies that define our responsible approach to the protection of the environment.
