“We are happy that we were able to become part of a modern and progressive law office that provides support to a dynamically growing global law firm. Thanks to a unique connection to other advisory and technology services and the global background, Deloitte Legal is quickly becoming a new driver in the environment of legal services, and we are happy to be a part of it,” says Jan Kotous, attorney-at-law and new partner at Deloitte Legal.

Jan Kotous specialises in the area of mergers and acquisition, banking and finance as well as corporate law. “In the last two years our team has been strengthened to include a variety of experts from the legal and corporate areas. However, even at a time of dynamic growth we select colleagues very carefully. We want them to bring not just the required expertise and client-oriented approach, but also to fit in with our cooperative and friendly atmosphere. Cooperation and a common goal are one of our basic principles. Honza Kotous and his colleagues are first-class lawyers who definitely fulfil these attributes,” adds Jan Spáčil, a partner at Deloitte Legal.

In the past, Jan Kotous worked for example in the law firms Wolf Theiss or Clifford Chance. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague and from the School of Law of the University of San Francisco.

Before his role at Wolf Theiss Martin Koláček worked at Bird & Bird. He studied at the faculties of law of the Charles University in Prague and University of Burgundy in Dijon.
