David Šimek

David Šimek is a Senior Manager in the Prague branch of Deloitte Legal. David focuses on acquisitions and sales of assets, enterprises and company shares, both in smaller local corporate deals and real estate projects as well as in complex cross-border transactions concerning assets in multiple jurisdictions.

David has broad experience with structuring of internal corporate governance rules, implementing of internal restructurings and designing of compliance policies within company groups. David also has long-term experience with advising on competition law matters. In particular, he specializes in the area of energy industry and other regulated sectors.

David received the summa cum laude degree in law at the Faculty of Law of the Charles University in Prague. He also completed a year-long study course at Cardiff University Law School where he focused on corporate law, competition law and EU law.
