David Sýkora

David Sýkora is an attorney-at-law in the Digital department at Deloitte Legal in Prague, which specialized in the legal areas related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Intellectual Property (IP). He focuses mainly on commercial contracts and projects, to which he is able to bring his expertise in legal issues concerning new ICT technologies, licensing, and intellectual property matters as well as in conclusion of electronic contracts. He has outstanding experience with global negotiations of software-related agreements (such as EULA, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Cloud Managed Services, PoC, tailored software development) as well as cross-border partnership and distribution agreements.

In recent years, David has been participating in projects in the area of personal data protection in a very intense manner. He has vast experience with the implementation of legal duties ensuring compliance with the personal data protection legislation from the legal, organizational, and technological points of view.
