VDA (Verband der Automobilindustrie) is an interest group of the automobile manufactures and component suppliers. The VDA Automotive SYS Conference is a platform for automotive experts, E/E developers, leading service providers and industry veterans to share technical methods, solutions and management practices with respect to the national and international automotive standards in the area of quality, safety and security of modern vehicle electronics.
On 11 May 2021, Deloitte would speak on "Challenges arisen due to upcoming cyber security regulations". Nishant Khadria would present a synopsis of upcoming automotive cyber security regulations with focus on UNECE R155 Cyber Security Management System (CSMS) and ISO/SAE DIS 21434 (Road vehicles - Cybersecurity engineering). The contents would show possible impacts by mapping regulatory requirements to engineering, infrastructure, processes, operations and other domain. At the end, generic approaches and recommendations with examples would be discussed to efficiently fulfill some of these requirements.

Nishant Khadria has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry with focus on vehicle security, software quality, supplier management, and vehicle monitoring serving automotive OEMs and suppliers across the globe. He has deep understanding of software development lifecycle and has reviewed use cases, requirements, architecture, design and tests to ensure timely implementation.
Nishant has been key contact between OEMs and their suppliers to bridge technical gap and establish software quality and security measures (based on automotive standards and guidelines) to accomplish desired performance. He has been leading AUTOSAR initiative for Deloitte.
