Inga Kruse, Senior Manager Indirect Tax, Deloitte

Inga Kruse has more than 14 years of professional experience as a lawyer and more than 11 years of professional experience as a certified tax advisor. She mainly advises public institutions and non-profit organizations (e.g. universities and research institutes, hospitals, fundraising organizations) throughout Germany on all issues of VAT law. She provides support, in particular, in design and structuring issues relating to VAT (entrepreneurial status, input tax deduction, procedural design of the tax function, etc.). 

Lukas Hechl, Senior Manager Indirect Tax, Deloitte

Lukas Hechl has more than 9 years of experience in VAT law and advises clients on all aspects of German and international VAT. He is a VAT subject matter expert in setting up internal control systems for taxes (Tax CMS). Lukas advises both medium-sized companies and multinational corporations from Germany and abroad in the automotive, pharmaceutical, high-tech and trade sectors. 

His focus is on international VAT law, VAT advice at the interface with other tax areas (TP, CIT, customs) as well as technical support. 

Monika Hagmann, Tax Expert, eClear

Monika Hagmann successfully completed her bi-national law studies with a focus on tax law at the University of Cologne in Germany as well as Université Paris I - La Sorbonne and Université Paris Dauphine in France, where she is admitted to the attorney at law ("Avocat"). She has worked as a lawyer for instance at Ernst & Young. Currently, Monika is an internal tax expert at eClear and a product owner for OSS+ and FileVAT.

Lea-Luisa Weichselbaum, Teamlead VATRules, eClear

Lea-Luisa Weichselbaum successfully completed her master's degree in corporate and tax law at the University of Potsdam. She worked as a Tax Assistant at BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft. She then continued her career as Editorial Project Manager responsible for seminars with focus on tax topics and is currently working at eClear as Teamlead VATRules in the internal Tax Department. She is responsible for the content of eClear VATRules, which contains more than 1.2 million tax codes including all exceptions, reductions, and exemptions.
