About the webcast

Be it security for electronic systems, distributed intelligence, the Internet of Things or e-mobility and energy efficiency – the embedded world provides a
platform to experience cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary embedded systems
covering all aspects of the development and application of embedded systems,
from fundamental technologies to development processes and special fields of
applications. Experts from different domains and areas promote a holistic
system design approach, identify synergies and commonalities, and strengthen
knowledge exchange. The 5-day event, among others, would focus on IoT,
Connectivity, Embedded OS, Safety & Security, SW/ HW/ Systems Engineering,
and Autonomous Systems.

On 2 March, Deloitte would speak on Security Risk Assessment under "Safety & Security" pillar. Nishant Khadria would present an approach to identify assets, determine impacts and analyze cyber security threats to comprehend risk exposure. In a systematic process, the approach would unveil various impacts categories (mainly SFOP), derivation of event likelihood and risk categorization.

Deloitte's engagement in such forums demonstrates not only our technical capabilities but also the increased level of confidence from R&D and engineering partners.

Nishant Khadria has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry with focus on vehicle security, software quality, supplier management, and vehicle monitoring serving automotive OEMs and suppliers across the globe.
He has deep understanding of software development lifecycle and has reviewed use cases, requirements, architecture, design and tests to ensure timely implementation.

Nishant has been key contact between OEMs and their suppliers to bridge technical gap and establish software quality and security measures (based on automotive standards and guidelines) to accomplish desired performance.
He has been leading AUTOSAR initiative for Deloitte.
