What is your name?
My name is Line Emilie Pedersen.
When did you join Deloitte?
I joined Deloitte in Slagelse in 2014.
Why did you apply for a job with Deloitte?
I always knew that I wanted to work with numbers. Before applying for the trainee position at Deloitte, I was employed as an office girl at the office. Deloitte’s social environment appealed to me, and Deloitte was also the place where I found an interest in the many different tasks. This is what made me apply for the position as an accountant trainee.
What is your educational background?
I graduated from the higher commercial examination programme in Slagelse in the summer of 2014 where I attended the international curriculum track. This summer I passed HD Part 1 and is now attending HD Part 2 specialising in accounts and financial management.
What would you like to get out of your trainee process?
I would like to develop – professionally as well as personally. I develop professionally daily when performing my different tasks, when attending the HD programme, but also when attending Deloitte’s internal course Audit Academy where I develop as a person and build a network with the other trainees in Denmark. Additionally, I would like to use my colleagues as sparring partners as much as possible and build relations with my clients.
What characterises you as a colleague?
I am outgoing, helpful and always smiling.
What are your hobbies?
In my time off, I prioritise to spend time with my boyfriend, friends and family. In addition, I like to travel and experience the world – also in winters where I often go skiing.
Impact that matters. What difference do you make in everyday life?
I try to spread the good mood and create a good working environment for my colleagues and myself.
