Thomas Schubbe

As a Director in the Cyber and Resilience Practice in Denmark, Thomas has over 15 years’ experience spanning public, defence, finance, extractive, and renewables sectors in the US and Northern Europe. He has developed, implemented, and maintained business continuity management systems and associated crisis management structures to reduce impact of disruptive incidents, meet ISO standards, and regulatory requirements in various geographies. He has experience coordinating efforts and programs across traditionally siloed response functions with an aim to develop holistic operational resilience in organizations. This well-rounded experience enables Thomas to support clients with operational resilience, emergency response, crisis management, business continuity, IT disaster recovery, and cyber threat management. In addition to general BCM systems and operational resilience, Thomas has developed, tailored, and exercised response programs for scenario-specific enterprise-threatening events such as oil spills, transmission cable failures, and cyber-attacks.
Thomas also has experience supporting regulatory inspections, conducting enterprise level resilience transformations, supporting development of information security management systems, as well as third party and M&A due diligence.
